Responsible AI
AI Transparency Notice
Effective September 2, 2026
When BriefLoft identifies content as AI-assisted, artificial intelligence helped draft, organize, or refine proposal language. AI-assisted content can be wrong or incomplete and must be reviewed by you before a proposal is published or sent to a client.
Who provides BriefLoft
Media Yard LLC operates BriefLoft and is responsible for how AI is used in the service. References to “BriefLoft,” “we,” “us,” or “our” mean Media Yard LLC doing business as BriefLoft. Our mailing address is Media Yard LLC, PO Box 73, Pennsauken, NJ 08110.
Where we use AI
BriefLoft may use an AI model to organize proposal inputs, suggest clearer language, or create a client-ready starting point. AI-assisted features are intended to help with drafting; they do not publish or send a proposal without your action. If AI is unavailable or cannot provide a usable response, BriefLoft may use standard templates or rules-based content instead.
What we do not use AI for
BriefLoft does not use AI to make decisions about employment, credit, insurance, healthcare, education admissions, law enforcement, immigration, legal rights, biometric identification, or emotion recognition. It does not autonomously publish proposals, accept terms for you, set your price, or enter into contracts. BriefLoft is a proposal workflow tool, not a legal, tax, accounting, or financial adviser or electronic-signature service.
Information processed
To provide an AI-assisted feature, BriefLoft may send relevant proposal inputs—such as project goals, scope, deliverables, timing, and terms—to our AI provider, currently OpenAI. Do not submit passwords, payment-card details, government identifiers, health information, or other highly sensitive information. Our Privacy Policy explains our broader data practices, and our Data Processing Addendumprovides business-customer processing terms. BriefLoft does not use proposal content to train its own AI models.
Limitations and human oversight
- AI-generated proposal language may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or too general for a particular engagement.
- Draft content may not account for your actual scope, rights, pricing, tax obligations, industry requirements, or local law.
- You should personally verify all commercial details and seek legal, tax, accounting, or other professional advice when appropriate.
- Review the complete proposal and correct any errors before publishing or emailing it to a client.
How AI-assisted content is handled
When an AI-assisted feature is available, BriefLoft may identify it in the interface. You remain the author and sender of the final proposal, and you control whether a draft is edited, published, or discarded.
Your choices
You may edit or discard AI-assisted content and create a proposal without relying on a suggestion. If you believe generated content is misleading or harmful, stop relying on it and contact us.
Changes and contact
We may update this notice when our AI providers, features, or legal obligations change. We will post a revised effective date and provide additional notice when required. Questions or concerns for Media Yard LLC may be sent to privacy@briefloft.com. You can also review our Terms of Service.
